Welcome to 2026 - REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN
We’re excited to let you know that netball registrations for the 2026 RDFNL season with the Hawks are NOW OPEN!
We can’t wait to welcome back our returning players and families for another great year, and we’d also love to extend a big welcome to new players joining the Hawks for the first time. Whether you’re continuing your Hawks journey or starting a new one, we’re thrilled to have you with us.
To kick things off, we’re offering an Early Bird Discount of $20 per child, available for a limited time. Don’t miss this opportunity to save on registration fees and also avoid disappointment in securing your child’s place for the season ahead. We again have strong participant numbers, so if you no longer want the place, please email us as soon as possible so other children can play. The U15 division is full and limited places remain across the U11, U13 & U17 divisions.
Please follow through the full checklist below to register, join Stack, order a dress and note all the important pre- season dates in your calendar. We know it's a lot of info, but we hope it covers everything you need to know in one go!
Coaches
Finally, we’re still looking to fill coaching roles across our U13B/C, U15B and U17B teams. We know coaching can feel like a big step, but please be assured you won’t be doing it alone. All new coaches are fully supported by our current coaches from both the Junior & Senior Club and a dedicated netball coaching app with session plans and guidance. You don’t need previous coaching experience — just a willingness to be involved, support the kids, and be part of our great club community. Most of our coaches started exactly the same way!
Without these final roles filled, it becomes very difficult to field teams, so we really do need your help. If you’re even slightly interested, or would like to know more before committing, please reach out — we’re very happy to chat. And a big thank you to all those parents who have already committed to Coach and TM roles for 2026, we're incredibly grateful for your enthusiasm and support.

Grading
As in 2025, player grading is conducted independently by senior club coaches and players. While winning is one part of the game, our focus at the junior level is on giving every player the best chance to develop, enjoy their netball, and play in a grade that matches their current skill level.
Squads will train together to support balanced teams, confidence, and long-term growth.
We kindly ask families to notify us via email before the grading session if your child will be away during the season for 3 or more games.
Training
Training for all divisions starts Thursday 26 February 2026 at Gilbert Gordon Courts
U11 - 4.15pm to 5.05pm
U13 - 4.15pm to 5.15pm
U15 - 5.15pm to 6.15pm
U17- 5.15pm to 6.15pm
Dress Orders
8th FEBRUARY – FINAL CUT-OFF
Once registered on Stack App, please head to the Merchandise Store to order your dress or shorts & t-shirt ASAP to enable time for delivery. They will be distributed by the Club before League grading games. Hawks socks (compulsory item) can also be purchased at the Merch Store any time before & during the season.

No second-hand dress options are available from the Club in 2026. We kindly ask all players move towards replacing
Older dresses if not purchased new in 2025. This will ensure correct bib attachment and avoid ongoing velcro issues.
Club Communication - Stack Team App
All WJFNC communications for the 2026 season will again be sent via Stack Team App.
If you are a new family, download Stack Team App from the App Store or Google Play and search Woodend Junior Football Netball Club
For both returning and new families, select the COG(settings) icon in the top right-hand corner and select ACCESS GROUPS. Scroll through and select 2026 ALL NETBALLERS and simply enter your child's full name in the message request box. If your child does not have the same surname as the registering parent/guardian, please note this for admin purposes.
Weekly game times, time keeping/scoring/oranges roster, training updates & notifications from your (AWESOME!) TM’s will be found on Stack throughout the Season.
Following the Club on Stack is an essential and compulsory part of your registration process. Please do this AFTER you have registered via NetballConnect and paid your fees.
